Clueless star Brittany Murphy has died, E! News has confirmed.

The 32-year-old actress went into full cardiac arrest early Sunday morning following a 911 call from her husband, Simon Monjack. She was pronounced dead upon arrival at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

"The sudden loss of our beloved Brittany is a terrible tragedy," her family says in a statement. "She was our daughter, our wife, our love and a shining star. We ask you to respect our privacy at this time."

Murphy starred in such films as 8 Mile, Uptown Girls, Sin City and Don’t Say a Word, and voiced the part of Luanne Platter in the Fox animated series King of the Hill.

Former boyfriend Ashton Kutcher immediately twittered, "2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany’s family, her husband, & her amazing mother, Sharon."

Murphy began her career at age 9 on Broadway in Les Misérables, and went on to book several short-lived television gigs before landing her role as Tai in 1995’s hit comedy Clueless.

Another banner year for the actress was 2002, when she starred opposite Eminem in 8 Mile and became a tabloid favorite for dating Kutcher during and after their film, Just Married.

When that relationship fizzled, Murphy’s tumultuous dating life didn’t end for years later.

The actress was engaged several times—first to former agent Jeff Kwatinetz, then Little Black Book production assistant Joe Macaluso—before marrying screenwriter Monjack in 2007.

The King of Pop is now able to rest in peace. He was laid to rest at Glendale Forest Lawn cemetery . I hope his children continue to be well adjusted children and his family will continue to be there for them.

After an hour-and-a-half delay, Michael Jackson‘s funeral got under way around 8:30 p.m. PT on Thursday (September 3) at Forest Lawn cemetery in Glendale, California.

The Jackson family and close friends, who departed their Encino compound in a police-escorted caravan around 7:30 p.m. PT, arrived at Forest Lawn at about 8:10. Solo piano renditions of Michael’s songs began to play as the family — including Michael’s three children, his sisters Janet and La Toya, brothers Jermaine and Tito, mother Katherine and father Joe — took their seats.

Jackson’s body was driven into Forest Lawn in a hearse shortly before 8:30 p.m. and arrived at the Great Mausoleum burial site minutes later. As soon as the hearse pulled up, the cemetery-provided camera feeds shut off, ending the public’s up-close, audio-assisted view of the proceedings. Helicopter shots continued to provide somewhat grainy footage of the ceremony.

Celebrities in attendance included Macaulay Culkin, Mila Kunis, Stevie Wonder, ex-wife Lisa Marie Presley, Corey Feldman, Elizabeth Taylor, Barry Bonds, Chris Tucker, Gladys Knight and the Reverend Al Sharpton.

On either side of a flower-decorated dais set up in front of the approximately 200 seats stood two pictures of Jackson in a bright yellow shirt and thick gold belt. Helicopter cameras hovering overhead showed that Jackson’s family placed his flower-covered casket in front of the audience. Without audio, however, it was impossible to discern exactly what was taking place at the service. But at least one attendee used the power of social networking to communicate details from Forest Lawn.

“I just spoke at the conclusion of tributes,” Sharpton wrote on his Twitter account during the ceremony. “Gladys Knight sang her heart out. Now we prepare to lay him to rest.”

CNN reported that Knight sang the Lord’s Prayer, Presley was extremely emotional when the casket was brought in from the hearse, and Taylor’s wheelchair had to be lifted up a series of steps after the various tributes when attendees entered the mausoleum.

The ceremony lasted about an hour and fifteen minutes and wrapped up at approximately 9:45. “Michael Jackson has been laid to rest,” Sharpton tweeted around this time.

They came for an intimate ceremony for a superstar: Lisa Marie Presley, Elizabeth Taylor, Macaulay Culkin, Chris Tucker and Mila Kunis arrived at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, Calif., on Thursday for the funeral for Michael Jackson.

On a hot Southern California night, the skies still smoky from mountain brush fires, the famous friends joined Jackson’s family, including his parents, brothers and sisters and three children, to say goodbye.

As Jackson’s backup dancers served as ushers, his brothers, wearing black armbands and a sequined glove on one hand, carried his flower-covered casket out of the hearse and placed it before about 200 mourners on a stage decorated with white lilies and white roses – a private, intimate gathering in contrast to the thousands who attended Jackson’s internationally telecast memorial service at Los Angeles’ Staples Center.

A Crown for a King

Jackson’s three children then placed a crown on their father’s coffin to mark his place as the King of Pop.

After a prayer by Pastor Lucius Smith and a gospel sung by Gladys Knight, Clifton Davis performed the Jackson 5 song he wrote, “Never Can Say Goodbye.” Jackson’s father Joseph and the Rev. Al Sharpton addressed the mourners, as did close friends and family.

After the ceremony, the brothers carried the casket to the Grand Mausoleum, where at 9:43 p.m. Jackson entered his final resting place.

Afterwards, his family issued statement to “once again thank all of Michael Jackson’s fans around the world for their generous outpouring of support during this terribly difficult time. Their expressions of love for Michael and his music have sustained the Jackson Family.”

He survive that horrible plane crash but today he wasn’t meant to survive DJ AM was found died today in his apartment and he was only 36.

The New York Post, citing NYPD insiders, have reported that drug paraphernalia was found near the body.

DJ AM has been found dead in his New York City apartment.

Det. Brian Sessa tells PEOPLE that at 5:20 p.m. on Friday New York Police Department officers entered an apartment on Lafayette Street in response to a 911 call about a man who hadn’t been seen for two days. Inside, they found the body of a white male in his 30s. Another police source confirmed to PEOPLE that the dead man was DJ AM.

The cause of death has not been released by the medical examiner, although N.Y.P.D. Deputy Commissioner Paul Browne said there was no apparent evidence of foul play.

DJ AM (real name: Adam Michael Goldstein) was 36. He narrowly escaped death in a 2008 jet crash with Blink 182’s Travis Barker.

The news of today’s death was first reported by TMZ.

On Thursday, Goldstein Tweeted, “New york, new york. Big city of dreams, but everything in new york ain’t always what it seems.”

DJ AM was scheduled to work tonight at Rain nightclub at the Palms in Las Vegas, where he has a standing gig. He DJed at the club last weekend. “He never drinks alcohol – ever,” says a source who has seen him there. “Every time he’s there he drinks Fiji water and Red Bull – six Fijis and six Red Bulls every night.”

Shanna Moakler, Barker’s ex-wife, Tweeted her sympathies. “My deepest condolences for DJ AM, you were a great artist and will be severely missed,” said her Tweet. “My thoughts and Prayers to his family and friends.”

HYANNIS PORT, Mass. – Mourners gathered Thursday at both ends of a 70-mile route that is carrying the body of Sen. Edward M. Kennedy from the Cape Cod home where he spent his final days to the presidential library bearing the name of one of his slain brothers.

The late senator’s loved ones began arriving shortly before noon for a private Mass at the family compound in Hyannis Port. Among those heading in were his nieces Caroline, daughter of former President John F. Kennedy, and Maria Shriver, daughter of his late sister Eunice; and his son Patrick Kennedy, a Rhode Island congressman.

After the Mass, a motorcade left for Boston. On the way to the library, which Kennedy helped develop, the hearse will pass sites that were significant to the senator.

Edward Kennedy, the iconic Democratic U.S. Senator from Massachusetts who raised a strong liberal voice in American politics for the past four decades, died Tuesday at his home in Hyannis Port, Mass. He was 77.

His family said in a statement. "We’ve lost the irreplaceable center of our family and joyous light in our lives, but the inspiration of his faith, optimism, and perseverance will live on in our hearts forever … He loved this country and devoted his life to serving it.”

Kennedy – the last surviving brother of a political dynasty that included President John F. Kennedy and Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy, both struck down by assassin’s bullets – had been suffering from a malignant brain tumor first diagnosed in 2008. In January, he was rushed from a post-Inauguration luncheon at the U.S. Capitol after suffering another seizure.

Even with his own share of the setbacks and tragedies that have befallen his legendary family, Kennedy, known as Ted, was an indefatigable leader in the U.S. Senate and elsewhere. The decline in health leading to his death brought a spirited show of support from both sides of the political aisle: Just after Kennedy was admitted to Massachusetts General Hospital two years ago, then-President Bush phoned the senator’s wife, Victoria Kennedy, to convey the message, "Take care of my friend."

The Kennedy Dynasty

Kennedy was the youngest of nine children of Massachusetts businessman and ruthless political patriarch Joseph Kennedy and his wife Rose. The senator’s eldest sister, Eunice Kennedy Shriver, 88, died Aug. 11. Jean Kennedy Smith, 81, is now the sole surviving member of that generation of Kennedys.

While it was Kennedy’s older brother Joseph Jr. (born in 1915, 17 years before Ted) whom his father eyed for the White House, that dream died in 1944, when the plane Joe Jr. was piloting was shot down during World War II. Instead, in 1960, second child John ran for the presidency – and won, bringing a glamorous era to Washington politics symbolized as The New Frontier.

JFK’s victory put the entire family in the spotlight. Third son (and seventh child) Robert was appointed his brother’s Attorney General, while, in 1962, 30-year-old Ted – a graduate of Harvard and the University of Virginia School of Law – ran for brother John’s vacated U.S. Senate seat and handily won the office. He was re-elected in 1964, 1970, 1976, 1982, 1988, 1994, 2000 and 2006 – making him the body’s second-longest serving member and earning him the nickname "The Liberal Lion."

Kennedy promoted environmental, educational and health issues, as well as his home state’s historic approval of same-sex marriages. He served on the Judiciary as well as Armed Services Committees, and was a member of the Congressional Joint Economic Committee and the Congressional Friends of Ireland, and a trustee of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.

A Legend is No Longer with Us

Hollywood and people outside of Hollywood has lost three iconic stars. One being Ed McMahon ,and today world renown superstar Michael Jackson also one of the original Charlie Angels Farrah Fawcett. My heart goes to all the families of all these stars. May they legacy continue to live on. Michael is someone that every generation knew about and his music was loved from all ethnicities and demographics. His music will continue to a staple for upcoming singers.

I hope everyone had a very Happy Mother’s Day

I am not a mother yet but I love children and I hope to become a mother one day. This mother day for my mom was bittersweet because her great niece 2 month old son died early Sunday morning . A very horrible way to start a week off. He was a beautiful baby and I was glad I had the chance to hold him last Easter. I woke up hoping it was a horrible nightmare but it wasn’t.

Another unfortunate death also occur last week with the death of 3 year old who lived a short life in and out of hospital due to seizures and many other health conditions. She no longer has to suffer.  Her funeral is tomorrow and I hope I can stay strong doing the service because I hardly ever deal with funerals that well.

Golden Girls Star Beatrice Arthur Dies

Beatrice Arthur, the larger-than-life actress who scored on Broadway as the original matchmaker in Fiddler on the Roof and the hard-drinking actress in Mame before she went on to star in the groundbreaking ’70s TV series Maude and, in the ’80s, the beloved sitcom The Golden Girls, died early Saturday morning. She was 86.
Dan Watt, a spokesman for Arthur’s family, told the Associated Press that the star had been suffering with cancer, though he did not specify what kind. She died peacefully at her Los Angeles home with her family by her side, said Watt, who remembered Arthur as "a brilliant and witty woman."
Maude, which debuted on CBS in 1972 (and ran until 1978) was a spin-off of the hit All in the Family. As the liberal cousin of archconservative Archie Bunker’s wife Edith, the much-married Maude wasn’t afraid to broach such controversial (especially for TV at the time) topics as abortion and civil rights.
Golden Girls, a popular NBC Saturday-night staple from 1985 to 1992, featured Arthur as the outspoken Dorothy Zbornak, who shared a Florida home with three other women, including her mother, played by Estelle Getty – who died last July, at 84. The other stars were Rue McClanahan and Betty White.
"Bea was such an important part of a very happy time in my life and I have dearly loved her for a very long time," White said in a statement Saturday. "How lucky I was to know her."

New York Origins

Born Bernice Frankel in New York City but raised in Maryland, where her parents ran a women’s clothing store, Arthur debuted on the Off Broadway stage in New York in the 1940s, with her Broadway musical triumphs – though her singing voice was deep and scratchy – in the mid-’60s.

Married and divorced twice, Arthur took her stage name (in part) from her first husband, the screenwriter, director and producer Robert Alan Aurthur, whose credits include the Bob Fosse film All That Jazz. With second husband, Mame director Gene Saks, she adopted two sons, Matthew, 47, and Daniel, 44. They survive her.
Of her powerful stage and TV persona, which often found her cast in the same sort of role, Arthur once said, "Look – I’m 5-feet-9, I have a deep voice and I have a way with a line. What can I do about it? I can’t stay home waiting for something different. I think it’s a total waste of energy worrying about typecasting”

I had to take a break from blogging

I will be embarking on a new journey and that journey is me attending a University for the first time. I am looking forward to it. I will try my to fulfill this new quest for a start to a new beginning for me.

Even though I have been missing in action with blogging I have still been staying update to with all the latest news. One being President Obama being a guest on Jay Leno tonight. Luckily I am recording it because I nearly forgot he was on the show tonight. Yes I do plan to post a video of the show on my blog. Really with all the new video sites it almost putting TIVO and the DVR to extinction.

Loaded with one-liners, President Barack Obama visited the Tonight Show on Thursday night and likened his new job to competing on a reality show: "I do think in Washington, it’s a little bit like American Idol. But everybody is Simon Cowell."
The appearance by the First Guest provided Jay Leno with what he called "the most exciting show of my life" – and fodder for jokes and banter. "A lot of people were surprised that the president came to NBC," said Leno. "You’d think by this time, he’d be tired of big companies on the brink of disaster."
Obama, dressed in a dark blue suit with a red tie flipped up the tails of jacket when he sat down, then crossed his legs and talked about the perks of the office, starting with his new mode of transportation.
"How cool is it to fly in Air Force One?" asked Leno.
"I personally think it’s pretty cool, because they give you the jacket with your name there," he said.
But for his daughters, he said, what’s cool is what’s in a cabinet in the presidential helicopter. "Our first time on Marine One and the Marines are saluting us as we board and Sasha looks over and says, ‘Are those Starbursts?’ "
As for sports on Pennsylvania Avenue, Obama revealed that he recently bowled 129 – "I’ve been practicing" – and still enjoys the occasional game of pick-up basketball with aides.
"When they play, do they throw the game?" Leno asked.
After a long comic pause, Obama said, "I don’t see why they would throw the game except for all those Secret Service guys with guns around them."

Singer and native Memphian Justin Timberlake is launching his own brand of tequila called 901 in May.

The recipe was originated in Jalisco, Mexico, and the brand has been in development for two years. The name is a nod to the 901-area code of Memphis.

The new line is expected to hit stores in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and St. Louis this spring, but no release date in Memphis has been set. Preliminary pricing is reported at $40 for a 750 milliliter bottle.

Timberlake has also launched a record label called Tennman, a clothing line called William Rast and purchased the Big Creek Golf Course in Millington, which is reopening as Miramichi Lakes this October.

Justin Timberlake has something new to toast: The singer and budding businessman is launching a new brand of tequila named 901.
In development for more than two years, the liquor will hit store shelves in early May in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and St. Louis.
The reason behind the numeric name? “901 is that time of night when your evening is ending, but your night is just beginning. It is also a subtle nod to his hometown,” says the singer’s spokesperson, referring to the area code for Memphis, where Timberlake grew up.
The new venture is the latest addition to Timberlake’s growing business portfolio, which includes the fashion line William Rast and the music label Tennman.
